New Delhi, Oct 11: As Modi ministers and Home Minister Amit Shah keep on reiterating that they are nationalist and often telling Pakistan that they will will capture Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Pok), senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal challenged Prime minister Narendra Modi to ask President Xi Jinping to vacate 5000km of land in POK occupied by China trans-Karakoram. India opposes China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), as the project is being built through disputed territory in Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Kapil Sibal’s made these remarks just before Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping’s informal summit in Mamallapuram near Chennai. As Xi Jinping supports Imran Khan on Article 370 Modi Ji look him in the eye at Mamallapuram and say: 1) Vacate 5000 km of land in PoK occupied by China trans-Karakoram 2) No Huawei in India for 5G. Show your 56″ ki chhati!,” Kapil Sibal said in a tweet.
“Or is it: Haathi ke daant khane ke aur dikhane ke aur (case of difference in posturing and action),” the former Union minister said.
The Congress on Thursday said why does Prime Minister Modi not say that India is watching the muzzling of pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong when Xi says he is watching Kashmir.
It is being perceived that PM Modi don’t have the guts to challenge China or ask China to leave India’s territory but Bharatiya Janta party leaders and RSS keep on claiming to have a strong political will for any action. As far as the 6 year Modi’s rule show , it imposes decision or faulty policies such as demonetisation, GST, Aadhaar, digitisation of financial transactions (without cyber security) on people and in the name of curbing corruption , putting Congress leaders or opponents in jail or are being investigated by CBI.In Kashmir the Article 370 has been revoked but it is still relevant in other 8 states of India but actually it is being done to change the demography of the state and then will carry the plebiscite so that UN norms are also followed. It is being perceived that Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu must have given the idea to Modi to slowly transform India into Hindu Rashtra and this idea is already being followed by China in xinjiang.
President Xi’s visit comes after the two sides exchanged sharp words over Kashmir following Xi’s meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan two days ago.
In a joint statement after the meeting, China said it was “paying close attention to the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir” and it “opposes any unilateral actions that complicate the situation”. In its rejoinder, the foreign ministry said China is well aware of India’s position and “it is not for other countries to comment on the internal affairs of India and said Jammu and Kashmir should be “properly and peacefully resolved based on the UN Charter, relevant UN Security Council resolutions and bilateral agreements.” Beijing had also criticised India at last month’s UN General Assembly over the decision to scrap special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcate it into two union territories and said that the status of the state cannot be changed as it a dispute .
