Washington, Sep 26 : The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released a declassified version of a whistleblower complaint detailing allegations about President Trump’s call with Ukraine’s president that spurred an impeachment inquiry into the American president.

Congress was originally denied access to the whistleblower complaint, the topic of which leaked earlier this week.

The Congress releases unclassified TRUMP whistleblower complaint

Brian Higgins said in his tweet “The now-released whistleblower complaint corroborates the call notes released yesterday: the President likely committed an impeachable offense and the White House sought to cover it up.”
The complaint dated August 12 , the whistle-blower said information was received by several US officials about the President of the United States using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election for political gain.
