The Anti-Defamation League called Pittsburgh synagogue shooting as the ” deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the history of the United States.”

Law enforcement official said Robert Bowers, 46, has been identified as the suspect in Saturday’s “horrific” mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue.

The official said the suspect left an alleged trail of anti-Semitic rants on social media accounts.

The FBI is investigating the attack as an alleged hate crime.

Pittsburgh’s public safety director, Wendell Hissich said “The scene is very bad inside,Of the six people injured four were police officers.”

Robert Bowers has an active license to carry a firearm, according to a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation.

Bowers has made at least six known firearm purchases since 1996, the source said.
