PM Modi fails to deliver on national and international policies

PM Modi, Ministers, RSS men brag about India taking progress domestically, economically with the ease of doing business and internationally by improving the status of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janta Party have coined the slogan of “new India” to showcase the work done under his stewardship but Modi has forgotten his promises which he made to the voters of being accountable, transparent, non-corrupt and delivering good governance.

PM has been making hollow promises with tall claims of giving taint free government. Modi’s government has stumbled in terms of foreign policy despite making huge expenditure by traveling to 40 countries and India’s relations with its neighbours such as China, Nepal, Maldives and Pakistan have gone worse as compared to the relations enjoyed during the UPA’s rule.

Under Modi, Indian borders are unsafe, security personnel are being killed by terrorists or by the Pakistani soldiers, while Chinese People Liberation Army troops continue to make their presence at Doklam and incursions are also very high.

All the neighbouring countries have clinched deals with China as President Xi Jinping played a proactive role in establishing his country as a major power in Asia. But since 2014 PM Modi was seen engaged in slamming Congress party. The situation in the state of Jammu and Kashmir has turned worse and to hide his failures, PM Modi has been vocal about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and how his mistakes have wreaked a havoc on Kashmir.

Whenever the Opposition seeks answers from the government, the Prime Minister maintains silence which is detrimental for democracy and India’s prospects as a major power.Modi maintains his silence on matters that demand his attention such as Kashmir, the Army personnel being martyred, atrocities on minorities, Ghar Wapsi, cow slaughter etc.

Modi government has failed to deliver on governance as there have been rise in crime against women and the Bharatiya Janata Party bowed before the Rajput Karni Sena for votes.

Allegations of rampant corruption under Modi

Modi will fight 2019 Lok Sabha elections on the issues of corruption under UPA government but keep tightlipped on the allegations of Arun Jaitley’s involvement in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) scam, Sushma Swaraj’s alleged links with scam-tainted Lalit Modi,Chhattisgarh’s CM Raman Singh’s linkage with the PDS/NAN scams, Madhya Pradesh’s CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s connection with the DMAT and Vyapam scams, Rajasthan’s CM Vasundhara Raje’s involvement in the Lalit Modi and mining scams, alleged multi-fold increase in the business fortunes of BJP national president Amit Shah’s son, Jay Shah.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on PM Modi for working in favour of corporate leaders and not for common man, Rahul stated “The biggest problem the country is facing is getting jobs for the youth. Many people voted for Modi believing he would provide jobs.

But the Union government provides 450 jobs daily in the whole country against 50,000 jobs provided by China daily.”

The public seeks answers from Modi as what is Modi doing to change Kashmir’s situation for good?

Why did he took votes from youths on the false promise of giving employment when according to a report, eight major sectors (manufacturing, trade, construction, education, health, information technology, transport, and accommodation and restaurant) created just 6.41 lakh new jobs in the country between July 2014 and December 2016.While 12.8 lakh new jobs were created between July 2011 and December 2013 in the same eight sectors.

So far nothing had changed on the ground except the current government has been misguiding people by terming their blunders of GST and Demonitisation as reforms. PM Modi did not even reply to the farmers protest in New Delhi.

Modi government’s domestic and foreign policies have weakened the country economically and internationally.

PM Modi, Ministers, RSS men brag about India taking progress domestically, economically with the ease of doing business and internationally by improving the status of the country.

BJP government policies have further weakened the country internally by dividing the people on caste, creed and religion. Then there are increased incidents of violence, lawlessness .With high unemployment rate educated youths are indulging in crime.Overall Modi’s internal policies has failed to lift its millions out of poverty.

Pointing out RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement the Army may take six to seven months to prepare for war but RSS cadres can prepare in just three days, Rahul has rightly said the BJP and RSS were making attempts to capture all institutions in the country. “The BJP is trying to capture all institutions in India and the RSS is trying to push its people into every institution.

It is pertinent to point out that the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG)’s five audit reports on the last leg of Narendra Modi’s rule as the Gujarat Chief Minister have fished out disputed transactions worth Rs 25,000 crore, which point to fiscal profligacy and a rising debt burden.

For the first time in the history of India, Judiciary came out to raise voice against government interference in judicial matters. There have a sharp decline of public institutions serving to reshape the country’s political culture. Modi ‘s Mann Ki Baat is a type of campaign tool and is used even when there is the model code of conduct in place. EC should consider Opposition request for bringing back the ballot paper rather than  EVMS during elections as a huge mandate against BJP government can compel Modi to speak on the issues of national security and integrity.
