Whistleblower complaint: Trump asks Republicans to put party over country

Washington, Sep 26 : U.S. President Donald Trump appealed to his partymen to fight hard and defend the Republican party after the formal impeachment inquiry was launched ‏over the conversation between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for soliciting interference in the 2020 U.S. elections.

David Axelrod, Director, UChicago Institute of Politics, said, ” This is the moment in which Republicans will have to decide if Donald Trump IS the party. He is asking Republicans to put party over country and defend the indefensible.”

Trump said, ” The Democrats are trying to destroy the Republican Party and all that it stands for . Stick together , play their game and fight hard Republicans .OUR COUNTRY IS AT STAKE,”

Congressman Tim Ryan from Ohio’s 13 district said, “I have read the Whistleblower Complaint. It’s absolutely clear, the President broke the law. Then his staff tried to cover it up. The President is running the White House like the mafia. Impeach.”
